Devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus

Our Lord told Saint Margaret Mary Alacoque, “I will bless every dwelling in which an image of My Heart is both exposed and honored.”
The Enthronement of the Sacred Heart means the official and social recognition of the loving kingship of the Heart of Jesus in the Christian family. When we enthrone (display) the image of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in a prominent place and signify that Jesus is the King, friend and brother of the family, we are responding to the invitation of the Church to make our homes “Domestic Churches,” wherein Jesus is the center and source of love for all. As the sanctuary church lamp reminds us of Christ’s presence in the tabernacle, the enthroned image of the Sacred Heart reminds us that Jesus is among us and with us. We dedicate ourselves to Him by an Act of Consecration and by this covenant we make our homes and hearts His tabernacle.
By the Enthronement and under the influence of the Sacred Heart, each member learns intimacy with Jesus. Either as a family or individually, each will grow in confidence and love with the One who longs for our love. Thus, the gift of the Enthronement is an awareness of His Living Presence in the family and a source of grace and blessings for the family.
We also consecrate ourselves to the Immaculate Heart of Mary who always leads us to the Sacred Heart of her Son. He in turn will lead you to the Eucharist where He is truly present, and thus will make of your home not only a house of prayer but indeed, a Marian and Eucharistic shrine.

First Friday Devotion:
“I promise you, in the excessive mercy of my Heart that my all powerful love will grant to all those who receive Holy Communion on the first Friday for nine consecutive months, the grace of final repentance; they shall not die in my disgrace nor without receiving the sacraments; my divine Heart shall be their safe refuge in that last moment.”

How to complete the First Friday’s Devotion:
- Receive Holy Communion on each First Friday;
- The nine Fridays must be consecutive;
- They must be made in honor and in reparation to His Sacred Heart.

Rosa Mystica Marian Devotion
13th of each month
In the Spring of 1947, Our Lady first appeared as Rosa Mystica to a nurse named Pierina Gilli in the small town of Montichiari, Italy with three words: “Prayer–Penance–Expiation.” Since then, the Blessed Virgin appeared over 40 times, pleading for the conversion of her children. She especially asks for the repentance of fallen away priests and religious and she begs all her children to pray for these specially chosen servants of God. On July 13, 1947, Our Lady told Pierina, “I am the Mother of Jesus and the Mother of all of you. Our Lord sends me to bring a new Marian devotion for all male and female institutes, religious orders, and secular priests. I promise those religious institutes, orders and secular priests who venerate me in this special way my special protection, an increase of spiritual vocations, few betrayed vocations, and great sanctity among the servants of God. I wish the 13th day of each month to be celebrated as the day of Mary. On the 12 preceding days, special prayers of preparation should be said.”
On December 8, 1947, Our Lady came to Pierina to request that an Hour of Grace be observed every December 8 at Noon throughout the Church. She said of this Hour: “This Hour of Grace will produce great and numerous conversions. Hardened and cold hearts resembling this marble will be touched by divine Grace, and they will become faithful to Our Lord in loyal love.”
